This course is aimed at building a strong foundation in biotechnology. Through the first unit, the students will understand the basic principles underlying biotechnological processes. In the second unit they will be introduced to the different applications of biotechnology in modern day life of human being. They will get the knowledge on how biotechnology changed our day-to-day life with respect to healthcare and food production.

This course will help the students in understanding the basic principles of biotechnology. It will educate them with the modern applications of biotechnology in research, healthcare and food industries.
