About the Course
The course presents an introduction to salient features of the planet Earth, its working as a system, and the dynamic interactions between its subsystems (geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, biosphere).
Course Objectives/ Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
CLO-1 Understand the basic principles of Earth's systems, processes, materials, history, and their interactions.
CLO-2. Outline key scientific principles that drive and sustain Earth’s processes and environments.
CLO-3. Understand the abundance and distribution of Earth’s Natural resources.
CLO-4. Relate Earth’s processes and their impacts with environment and human society.
CLO-5. Achieve preparedness for advanced studies in Earth Sciences or related disciplines.
